DLL Storify of Black Girls CODE Los Angeles "Build a Webpage in a Day!" -- Saturday 6/25/16

Last update: Saturday 6/25/16
BlackGirlsCODE (Website, Facebook) brings its exciting 1-day webmaking workshop to Los Angeles, CA at California State University, Dominguez Hills.  This workshop will teach participants how to build their own unique webpage in one day using fun games and activities that introduced HTML, CSS, and basic web structure.

All BGC events are geared towards introducing participants to the technological universe and encouraging them to pursue careers as Tech Creators and Entrepreneurs.  This event was intended for girls ages 7-17. More information can be found on its event page.

Below find the DLL Storify of tweets generated by participants who used hashtags = @VolunteerBGCLA, @BlackGirlsCode, #ChangeHerPath. As usual, this DLL Storify is merely a "firehose" draft, i.e., it includes all tweets in chronological order  without comment or classification ... Storyfies of other #DiversityInTech events are listed in the DLL Archives

... Additional tweets will be added to the Storify (below)

from time to time throughout the workshop ...
