- Interesting observation in attending this blockchain conference this week and reflecting on the stark absence of diversity and inclusion---literal handful of poc.
- This feels a LOT like the tech general SV tech industry felt for me in 2011. Literal rooms full of white men and hella opportunity to jump in and ride the wave. But no women, poc, just no diversity at all.
- Now there are certainly poc using crypto as a means for funding and investing abd that's a good thing. But far too few of us on the building side of the equation.
That needs to change. It's always been my mission to shift the prism for poc (especially woc) to the seat of creator rather than consumer/user.
I need to see more of us here building shit that matters.
