Best States for American Black, Hispanic, Asian, and Female Tech – Vers 1.0f

This note provides answers to basic questions about the diversity of the U.S. information technology sector. In other words, it's a set of FAQs. Its extensive answers are based on U.S. Census data related to American Black, Hispanic, Asian, and female tech professionals in all 50 states plus the District of Columbia in 2015. (Note: the DLL has also published a supplement to this report, "Foreign Professionals: U.S. Tech’s Other Pipelines – Version 1.0")

Of course Facebook uses machine learning, or comparably powerful algorithms, to maintain the social networks of each of its more than 1.65 billion active users.
