As per the event's invitation page, HBCU Hacks was designed especially for college students. In this fast paced competition, students learned what it takes to take a digital product from idea to working prototype in 24 hours. They then had the opportunity to pitch their ideas in front of a panel of tech experts. This 24 hour make-a-thon began at 4:00 pm on Friday and ended at 4 pm on SaturdayBelow find the DLL Storify of tweets that were generated by participants who used hashtag = #HBCUHacks. More detailed comments (with pictures and videos) are provided on the HBCU Hacks blog ==> HERE
As usual, the DLL Storify is merely a "firehose" draft, i.e., it includes all tweets in chronological order without comment or classification.... Storyfies of other #DiversityInTech events are listed in the DLL Archives ...
Note: On May 12, Technical.ly Baltimore published an excellent summary of the results of the make-a-thon/hackathon, i.e., descriptions of winning apps and their developers.
