Black enrollments at selective U.S. colleges and universities

Last update: Friday 10/12/18
As part of its effort to identify the colleges and universities whose affirmative action policies have been the most successful, this report defines the "Black 6-year 75 Percent 50 Group". The name doesn't exactly roll off the tip of one's tongue, so let's break it down. It designates the accredited U.S. colleges and universities wherein 75 percent of the first-time, full-time Black students who enter in a given year receive bachelors degrees at some point within the next six years; only institutions that graduate at least 50 Black students every six years are included in the group.
