Ironically, I posted my answer to this question in a note on this blog almost ten months ago, "Virtual HBCUs, Mobile Apps, and Hip Hop Moguls" (Nov 2013) ... The point of that note was the strategic value of an alliance between Hip Hop Moguls and black app developers. Hopefully, HBCUs will become major incubators for this critical segment of the Talented Tenth.
