DLL Editor's Note -- Oakwood University's Dr. Keith Augustus Burton developed this course within the Center for Excellence in Distance Learning (CEDL). The course is described on Oakwood's Website and is listed in the catalog of the Canvas Network
The CEDL, a consortium of HBCUs located at Wiley College, currently has three members: Wiley College, Oakwood University, Florida Memorial College, Jarvis Christian College, and Talladega College plus Lumen Learning, the CEDL's corporate partner. The CEDL's MOOC is a gratifying demonstration of the strategic advantages of "Virtual HBCUs" working with corporate partners that I have advocated for the last two years, most recently in the last paragraphs of a note on this blog "Academic Innovators as Community Organizers -- Part 2"
