Black Founders returns to sponsor another hackathon at Howard University. As per the hackathon's event page, - "HBCUHacks is a series of weekend hackathons that provide students at HBCUs (historically black colleges and universities) the opportunity to flex their coding, design, and business skills and work together to build software and mobile apps. Presented by Black Founders (a 501c3), these hackathons identify talented students and develop the pipeline of minority tech talent."
This three day hackathon will be held in HU's School of Engineering Building and will start on Friday afternoon at 5:30 pm. More information can be found on the hackathon's event page.
Below find the DLL Storify of tweets that were generated by participants who used hashtags = #HBCUHacks, @HBCUHacks, and other hashtags that emerge in the Twitter stream. As usual, this DLL Storify is merely a "firehose" draft, i.e., it includes tweets in chronological order without comment or classification ... Storyfies of other #DiversityInTech events are listed in the DLL Archives.
