DLL Storify of Black Girls CODE, Bay Area Chapter, "Build a Game in a Day" -- Saturday 4/30/16

Last update: Sunday 5/1/16
This Black Girls CODE workshop introduced its students to game design and development. Intended for girls 7 to 17, the workshop encouraged student-driven learning, as participants thought analytically, designed, played, and coded in real-time.

All BGC workshops are geared towards introducing participants to the technological universe and encouraging them to pursue careers as tech creators and entrepreneurs. No prior computing experience is necessary.  More information can be found on the workshop's event page.

Below find the DLL Storify of tweets that were generated by participants who used hashtags = #BGCBayArea and #BGCGame. As usual, this DLL Storify is merely a "firehose" draft, i.e., it includes all tweets in chronological order  without comment or classification ... Storyfies of other #DiversityInTech events are listed in the DLL Archives
